Kyoto Yoichi “Honkan” is a collection of fine foods, restaurants and a rooftop farm, sharing our common value of food integrity and sustainable lifestyle.
The Honkan started with the concept of maintaining a healthy body through connection with nature and vegetables and fruits, and deeply understanding the meaning of food and what it means to consume them. Today at the Honkan, visitors can experience and learn the cycle of food production, from farm to table. Separated into three floors and a rooftop farm, the Kyoto Yaoichi Honkan offers fresh vegetables and fruit, meat, seafood, wines, and groceries, as well as restaurants ranging from traditional Japanese to Western dishes.
On the open rooftop, visitors can take a break from shopping and enjoy the serenity of the small yet beautiful Rokkaku Farm, where vegetables of the season are being grown.
