March

  • Issunmame

It's reaches peak in open field cultivation.
It's a large grain and filling. The snack,
boiled with salt are popular. It is also
good for Chinese stir fried dish and
    toppings for salad. Also recommended
to grill it with the pea-pod.

  • BRUSSEL SPROUTS
It’s cute looking vegetable, but it's sweet,
soft and nutritious. Of course it's good to
use for stew and soup. The best
recommendation is to cut it in half and
boil briefly then mix with mayonnaise.
Also, good to sauté with nuts.
  • NEW POTATOES

Both MayQueen and Bareisho have a
peak of new product. It's not suitable
for cooking or potato salad because it's
high in water. The taste of steamed
potatoes or deep fried small potatoes
    makes you feel like spring.

  • Kiyomi Orange (Kiyomi Tangole)
This is a citrus fruit mixing “Miyakawa
    Hayao” and “Torovita Orange”. Actually,
it is a domestically produced orange
that is characterized by its soft, juicy,
strong sweetness and good flavor only
at this time. The skin is hard, so please
cut it with a knife and enjoy it.
  • Grapefruit
It is said that it was discovered on the
island of Barbados in the West Indies
in the 18th century. It’s natural hybrid
of Buntan and Orange. A juicy fruit with
a refreshing sour taste, light sweetness
    with unique bitterness. It's called
    grapefruit because the appearance of
    fruit cluster looks like grapes.
